Students from the Forestville Elementary School Chorus performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the start of the Fairfax County School Board’s Sept. 28 meeting.
Standing on risers behind the School Board’s dais, and decked out in red T-shirts signifying they were Forestville Cardinals, the students from the Great Falls school sang under the direction of Stephanie Patterson.
