A tree-service truck was legally parked at 900 Fairway Drive, N.E., on Jan. 27 at 9:27 a.m. when it was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on the street, Vienna police said.

A local resident reported that, sometime between Jan. 24 at 3 p.m. and Jan. 28 at 7:46 p.m., someone stole the resident’s vehicle the parking lot of Danor Plaza shopping center in the 100 block of Branch Road, S.E.
