Women's History Month to kick off with event featuring author

The Fairfax County alumnae chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Social-Action Committee, in conjunction with the National Council of Negro Women Northern Virginia section, will commemorate Women’s History Month with a free online program on March 1.

Paul Giddings, the author of “Ida: A Sword Among Lions,” will discuss her award-winning biography of journalist/activist Ida B. Wells.
