A local resident on Feb. 2 at 5:03 a.m. told Vienna police that a driver had followed him out of the parking lot at Giant Food, 359 Maple Avenue, E.
The driver stopped his vehicle in the lane next to the resident, got out of his vehicle and allegedly began acting disorderly by striking the resident’s windows and spitting on the vehicle.
The driver left the area eastbound on Maple Avenue.
The complainant did not wish to pursue charges against the driver, police said.
