The Church of the Good Shepherd (United Methodist) has published its annual Devotions for Lent booklet, which has been mailed out to neighborhoods surrounding the church and is available at www.goodshepherdva.com.
“As we continue to navigate life this side of the pandemic, we realized that many things in our lives have changed,” Pastor Eric Song said. “Our hope is that through our stories, we may shine a little light.”
Additional copies of the publication, now in its 24th year, are available at the church, 2351 Hunter Mill Road in Vienna. The church also plans to hold weekly online gatherings to discuss the devotionals.
In addition, Church of the Good Shepherd will hold its annual “Drive-Thru Ashes” event on Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 6:30 to 8 a.m. in the church parking lot. Coffee, cookies and copies of the Lenten-devotionals booklet will be available.
