The Baltimore-Washington Laborers’ District Council has endorsed J.D. Spain Sr. in his bid for Arlington County Board.
The endorsement was one of a number in Virginia races recently announced by the organization, an affiliate of the Laborers’ International Union of Northern Virginia. The organization is endorsing “candidates who support working people,” its business manager, Julio Palomo, said.
Spain is one of five announced Democrats vying for two seats on the County Board. The party will select its nominees in a June primary.
