The Vienna Police Department in recent weeks has responded to multiple reported tool thefts from work vehicles, and the most recently weekly highlights added two more to the tally.
• A resident living in the 100 block of Patrick Street, S.E., told Vienna police that on Jan. 29 between 4 and 6 a.m. someone stole several power tools and other miscellaneous tools from his work van.
• A resident living in the 100 block of Tapawingo Road, S.W., informed town police on Jan. 29 at 5:37 a.m. that someone had broken the passenger-side window of his work van and stolen various tools and cables.
