Tennis players soon will be able to take advantage of five new courts at James Madison High School in Vienna.

The Fairfax County School Board is expected May 23 to approve a consent agenda that includes a $361,739 contract with ATC Corp. (formerly American Tennis Courts Inc.) to replace Madison High’s courts. Those playing surfaces now are in poor condition, with significant cracking throughout, and their asphalt no longer can be repaired practically, officials with the school system said.

ATC Corp. successfully has performed other tennis-court repairs and replacements for Fairfax County Public Schools.
