It's an iffy proposition at best, but snow-lovers may have a shot at seeing some of the white stuff across Northern Virginia early next week.
Precipitation certainly seems likely, but the temperatures next Monday [Feb. 12] may be a few degrees too high overnight to sustain snow. Instead, rain might fall.
That's about the most likely chance of a winter wonderland for the first half of February, which is likely to be a bust on the snow front. But history has provided some major snowfalls in late February and early March, so snow-lovers, do not give up hope!
