A woman living in the 300 block of Plum Street, S.W., told Vienna police on Jan. 14 at 2:19 a.m. that an unknown person had walked around her house and attempted to open a rear door.
This activated the home’s alarm and the man ran off, police said.
The home’s security video showed the man fleeing toward the area of Plum and Elm streets, S.W.
