Rain in the forecast held off just long enough on May 20 for the 2023 McLean Day celebration to bring out large crowds of all ages to Lewinsville Park.
The annual celebration had started the afternoon before, when rides were open, but kicked into high gear on Saturday with a variety of activities.
The festival has been part of the McLean community for more than a century. The McLean Community Center took over operation in the 1970s and it was moved to Lewinsville Park in the 1980s.
