The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department will host a community paper-shredding event on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at the department, 400 Center St., S.
Local residents can bring up to two copy-paper-sized boxes per car to the event. All shredding will occur on-site; staples, paperclips, old checks and checkbooks are accepted.
