VDOT to host upcoming public meetings on '495 NEXT' project

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), along with project partner Transurban and contractor Lane Construction, will hold public meetings April 8 and 11 to provide the latest updates and information related to the I-495 Express Lanes Northern Extension (495 NEXT) project. 

The meetings will include a presentation, followed by a question-and-answer session. Project representatives will be present at the meetings to provide information and answer questions.

VDOT will hold a virtual meeting April 8 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with the presentation starting at 6:30 p.m. To join by phone, dial 1-866-692-4530 (toll-free) or 1-517-466-2023 (toll).

VDOT also will hold an in-person meeting April 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Langley High School, 6560 Georgetown Pike. The presentation will begin at 7 p.m.
