A security system on April 18 at 3:28 a.m. alerted a resident living in the 300 block of Park Street, N.E., to movement in his back yard.
The resident checked his security camera and observed a man in the back yard attempting to open the rear doors to his home, Vienna police said.
Officers immediately responded, but did not locate anyone in the yard or the area. There was no entry made into the home and there appeared to be no damage, police said.
