River Bend Road (Route 603) between Georgetown Pike (Route 193) and Arnon Chapel Road/Weant Drive (Route 682) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, Tuesday, Dec. 5 through Friday, Dec. 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day for tree work, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Those needing to reach properties and side streets within the work area along River Bend Road (located between Mine Run Drive and Arnon Chapel Road/Weant Drive) will have access.
Through traffic will be detoured via Georgetown Pike, Walker Road (Route 681) and Arnon Chapel Road back to River Bend Road. Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.
