On Jan. 3 at 8 p.m., a Vienna resident contacted health officials requesting assistance in locating a cat.
According to the resident (gender unspecified in the police report), the cat was stuck on their fence in the 500 block of Kramer Court, S.E. When the resident attempted to assist the feline in getting free, the cat scratched the victim.
The resident advised health officials that he or she was unfamiliar with that particular cat and would not be able to identify it.
