A woman informed Vienna police on Jan. 31 at 3:54 p.m. about a suspicious incident that had occurred as she was picking up her children from Vienna Elementary School, 128 Center St., S.
As she was walking to her car, her daughter went ahead of her to the vehicle and was approached by a man on a bicycle who asked what she had in her bag.
This scared the girl, who immediately screamed and ran to an adult, who brought her to her mother, police said.
