Police: Man banned from Vienna hypothermia shelter

Individual had snuck into church on evening of Feb. 9

A worker at the hypothermia shelter at Vienna Presbyterian Church, 124 Park St., N.E., on Feb. 9 at 9:10 p.m. told Vienna police that a man who had been banned from their program had snuck into the church and they wished to have him trespassed.

An officer located the man at the bus stop at Maple Avenue, E., and Park Street, S.E., and told the man he was banned from the shelter’s premises and might be arrested if he returned.
