An employee at Capital One Bank, 246 Maple Ave., E., told Vienna police on Jan. 26 at 10:12 a.m. that a customer had come into the bank to cash two checks.
The employee found a problem with the account and was unable to complete the transaction.
When the employee told the customer he was unable to cash the checks, the customer reportedly became angry and made statements threatening the person who wrote the checks, police said.
