MCA SETS TOWN-HALL MEETING ON COUNTY BUDGET: The McLean Citizens Association will host a March 11 town-hall meeting at the McLean Community Center to learn more about Fairfax County government’s proposed fiscal 2025 budget.

The meeting, which starts at 7 p.m., will be attended by Supervisor Jimmy Bierman (D-Dranesville) and School Board member Robyn Lady (Dranesville District).

McLEAN HAMLET GARDEN CLUB TO MEET: The McLean Hamlet Garden Club will host its monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 12 at 10 a.m. at Lewinsville Presbyterian Church, 1724 Chain Bridge Road in McLean.

The guest speaker, Aimee Martin, is a Green Spring Gardens Extension Master Gardener and president of Friends of Green Spring, and will present the program “Native Plants for Butterflies, Birds and Other Wildlife.”

Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to attend.
