Matthew Svensson of McLean was part of a contingent of students from McDaniel College to participate in the Model European Union 2023 Simulation, held Nov. 9-11 at Washington.
The McDaniel College group represented Sweden at the event, which focused on the European Union’s efforts in the rebuilding of Ukraine after the war with Russia ends.
About 200 students from 15 colleges and universities across the Mid-Atlantic participated.
In addition to the Model European Union, McDaniel students are involved with Model United Nations, Model Arab League and Maryland Student Legislature.
