The McLean Community Center will host an early celebration of Earth Day on Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event is designed exclusively for McLean residents. “Shred, reuse, recycle, replenish and make McLean an even better place by acting locally,” organizers said.
The event includes document shredding (up to five file boxes; no clips), bike donations, a recycled-art display, bulk and household item donations and more.
“Don’t leave without your free gifts of a tree whip and pollinator seeds,” organizers said.
