FACETS, a Fairfax-based social-safety-net provider that helps those affected by poverty, hunger and homelessness in Fairfax County, has launched a new Website (www.FacetsCares.org) with a $10,000 match donation challenge.

Every donation made through the new site will be doubled up to $10,000. In addition, to encourage visits to the new site, the non-profit is hosting a scavenger hunt for Website visitors that could lead to free “swag.”

“We are excited to unveil our new Website. It’s been a long time coming, and it’s going to be much more interactive and have important resources to help us serve the emerging and changing needs of our community across Fairfax,” said the organization’s executive director, Joe Fay.

The Website is designed to provide a better resource for those who need help, want to learn more about FACETS programs or want to get involved.

“Whether it’s volunteering, fund-raising or advocacy, the community can discover how they can play a pivotal role in building a stronger future for neighbors experiencing homelessness, hunger and poverty,” the organization noted.
