A man told Vienna police on Nov. 4 at 2:25 p.m. about a dispute he’d had with an employee at Giant Food, 359 Maple Ave., E.

He stated he had began filming the employee with his phone and the employee allegedly had grabbed his wrist and tried to take the phone.

Police advised the man of the warrant process should he wish to pursue charges. The employee told police the man allegedly had stolen from the store in the past, and store management wanted to trespass him from the premises.

Police informed the man he would be arrested for trespassing if he returned to the store.

The officer found there was an unserved protective order against the man in Loudoun County, but the man left the area before police could get confirmation from Loudoun County.
