A number of local students were among 46 representing 16 Fairfax County public high schools selected for the 2023 All-Virginia Jazz Band and 2023 Virginia Music Educators Association Senior Honors Choir.
Students selected rehearsed and performed with student-musicians from across the commonwealth during concerts held Nov. 14-18.
Students went through a rigorous selection process that included auditions.
