Sunday [4/28] should bring the "start of a period of much warmer weather" across Northern Virginia, according to AccuWeather, the GazetteLeader's official weather partner.
Current models suggest temperatures will be above 80 degrees that day, with the warm spell continuing into the work week next week.
Until then, though, it'll be cooler, with highs only in the 60s on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. And expect some major levels of pollen at the end of the week, AccuWeather cautions.
