The flakes may be few and far between, but don't rule out just a little snow across Northern Virginia as a precipitation-laden front moves through the area Monday [Feb. 12] into Tuesday morning.
AccuWeather – the official weather partner of the GazetteLeader – continues to keep the possibility of snow in the forecast for overnight, although temperatures probably are going to be too high to make for any major problems in the morning.
Once this weather system passes, expect relatively clear and generally seasonal temperatures for the remainder of the week – at which point, the often wild weather month of February will be half over.
But only half!
