The Northern Virginia United Senior Women’s Basketball Association provides playing opportunities for women ages 45 and older in the metro area.
The association is recruiting new players. Teams are forming in age groups of five-year increments – 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79+ and 80+.
Players of all abilities and experience levels are welcome. Practices and scrimmages are held at the James Lee Community Center in Falls Church every Wednesday and Friday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
A 3x3 half-court game format is used to follow the rules set by the National Senior Games Association.
