On July 8 at 4:57 p.m., a man entered a business in the 1000 block of South Hayes Street, concealed merchandise in bags and left without paying, Arlington police said.
The suspect was confronted by two loss-prevention personnel, who attempted to detain him, police said. A struggle ensued, and the suspect shoved one of the loss-prevention personnel.
The suspect dropped the stolen merchandise and fled on foot toward the Rosslyn Metro station.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts.
