Investigation continues in fatal motorcycle accident on I-395

 Virginia State Police continue to investigate a fatal crash involving a motorcycle that occurred April 18 at 4:51 p.m. on Interstate 395 northbound at Mile Marker 7 in Arlington County.

A Honda CBR600RR was heading northbound on I-395 at a high rate of speed when it lost control, struck a 2012 Acura TL, went off the road to the right and struck a guard rail, state police said.

The rider, 23-year-old Joshua A Craig Jr. of Dumfries, was ejected and died at the scene, police said.

Craig was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident, which remains under investigation, police said.
