Encore Stage & Studio will shine a light on local history with an original play – “From Nauck to Green Valley: Transforming a Community” – with performances April 28-May 7 at Theatre on the Run, 3700 South Four Mile Run Drive
The production is part of Encore’s Flip the Script initiative, which works with local student-writers to develop original theater pieces. The cast is comprised of performers between the ages of 9 and 18, some of them living in the Green Valley neighborhood.
“This original work is exciting and important,” said Madaline Langston, production director and programs director at Encore. “We’re honored to share and celebrate the history and voices of Green Valley.”
