On July 30 at 11:04 p.m., a resident of Oakmont Court, N.E., contacted Vienna police to report being the victim of a domestic assault.
Responding officers determined an assault and strangulation had taken place.
The suspect, a 29-year-old Vienna man, was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with domestic assault and strangulation.
