A town resident informed Vienna police on July 29 at around 9:30 a.m. that she had been bitten by a dog on the walking path leading from the W&OD Regional Trail near Owaissa Road, S.E., police said.
The dog was described as a white doodle with black patches, being walked on a leash by a male in his 30s, with dark hair.
Anyone who knows the dog’s owner is asked to contact animal control at (703) 255-6377 so he can be contacted.
