The National Jazz Museum in Harlem will present “When You Wish Upon a Star: A Jazz Tribute to 100 Years of Disney” on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Alden Theatre of the McLean Community Center.
The concert will feature fan favorites from movies including “Snow White, “Lady and the Tramp,” “Mary Poppins,” “Toy Story” and “The Jungle Book.”
“Disney-music fans – such as Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, Dianne Reeves, Alfredo Rodriguez and many more – have long been inspired to create jazz renditions for The Mouse’s scores, and the house band of the National Jazz Museum in Harlem is no exception,” organizers said.
Tickets are $20 for McLean residents, $25-$30 for others. For tickets and information, see the Website at www.aldentheatre.org.
