Yorktown High's club ice hockey team wins again, now 4-0

The Yorktown High School club ice  hockey team improved to 4-0 with a 5-2 victory Gainesville.

Yorktown continues atop the Patrick Division standings in the Northern Virginia Scholastic Hockey League with that 4-0 record.

In the win, Yorktown senior goalie Ander Andreev played well and there was timely offensive contributors up and down the lineup.

Scoring goals for Yorktown were Andrew Levine with two and Max Whittington, Roger Allenbaugh and Alexi Lautala with one each. Assists went to Bennett Haas, James Gan, Ellie Prantner and Jamie Hardie.

Andreev made multiple key saves down the stretch, stopping 22 of 24 shots.

The rest of the Yorktown lineup included Henry Dwyer, Logan McGraw, Carter Dunn, Peyton Tien, Will O’Sullivan, Sophia Matusevich and Brendan Thompson.
