Arlington Forest divers rout Annandale in Division VII meet

Participants win seven of eight individual categories

After three weeks of regular-season meets, the Arlington Forest divers are in a four-way tie for first place in Division VII of the Northern Virginia Swimming League with a 2-1 record.

Arlington Forest routed visiting and winless Annandale (0-3), 55-16, in its most recent meet, winning seven of the eight age-division categories. Divers from Arlington Forest finished second in five categories and third in five.

Winners for Arlington Forest were Vi Roberts in freshman girls with a 49.1 point total, Connor Bergen in freshman boys (62.65), Campbell Black in junior girls (80.8), Alexander Stewart in junior boys (93.0), Claire Polsinelli in intermediate girls (107.25), Julia Green in senior girls (155.2) and Quinn Coogen in senior boys (170.75).

Second for Arlington Forest were Victoria Beier, Tanner Green, Lottie Robert, Matthew Petruccelli and Ada Jordan. Third were Agnes Campbell, R. Emerson Koch, Helen Huggler, Banks Buergler and Max Gassatt.

Arlington Forest is scheduled to visit Springfield (1-2) in its next meet, tonight at 6 p.m.

A year ago, Arlington Forest finished 2-3 in Division VII.
