To the editor: The upcoming Democratic County Board primary is a fight for the very soul of Arlington.
We need Natalie Roy, an honest and committed community leader, to fight for our residents. She knows right from wrong and will ensure transparency and true public engagement, including studies and surveys that are not designed to provide a specific outcome.
She knows and understands the issues we are grappling with: a myriad of issues facing our schools, overdevelopment causing tree-canopy loss and flooding, density that is straining our infrastructure, the bloated budget and the steep loss of revenue caused by flight of the commercial sector. She will ask the tough questions.
We need Natalie Roy to get our number-one vote in the upcoming primary.
