Upcoming tutorials to focus on ranked-choice voting

Events will be sponsored by League of Women Voters in collaboration with Arlington election officials

The League of Women Voters of Arlington & Alexandria City will be hosting several upcoming educational events focused on ranked-choice voting, which is being used for both the Democratic primary and general election for the lone County Board seat on the 2024 ballot in Arlington.

Upcoming hour-long sessions will be held:

• Wednesday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Lubber Run Community Center. (To register: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ranked-choice-voting-rcv-educational-event-may-15-tickets-896735769827.)

• Wednesday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Central Library. (To register: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ranked-choice-voting-rcv-educational-event-may-15-tickets-896735769827.)

• Saturday, June 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Walter Reed Community Center. (To register: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ranked-choice-voting-rcv-educational-event-june-1-tickets-896747063607.)

The programs, provided by the county government’s elections office, will be identical at each event.
