On Feb. 5 at 4:21 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person with a gun at Washington Boulevard and North Pershing Drive, Arlington police said.

Responding officers met with a witness who had observed the suspect, driving a red sedan, and the victim, driving a white sedan, traveling the same direction (northbound) on Washington Boulevard. The two became engaged in a verbal dispute and a minor crash, the witness said.

The suspect brandished what appeared to be a firearm before both the suspect and victim left in their respective vehicles, the victim reported.

The suspect is described as a black male with short hair.
