Police: Teen keeps a 'ghost gun' tucked in waistband during theft

Petitions obtained for suspect; other youths banned from property

On April 2 at 2:30 a.m., a group of juveniles entered a business in the 1600 block of Wilson Boulevard and stole merchandise, Arlington police said.

During the incident, one of the individuals was observed with what was believed to be a firearm concealed in his waistband, police said.

Responding officers located the group of juveniles near Wilson Boulevard and North Rhodes Street and detained them. During a search of the juvenile suspect, a ghost gun was recovered, police said. 

Petitions for underage possession of a firearm and a concealed-weapons violation were obtained for the juvenile suspect. All the juveniles were banned from the business.
