Police: Suspect picks up gun, drug charges after altercation

On April 14 at 11:33 p.m., police who had been dispatched to a report of a dispute in the 3100 block of South Fox Street determined that one of the involved parties was in possession of a firearm, Arlington police said.

Further investigation resulted in the discovery of illegally possessed prescription medication and amounts of suspected oxycodone and marijuana consistent with drug distribution, police said.

The suspect – 21-year-old Daquoi Moore of Arlington – was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I/II controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a Schedule I/II controlled substance and two counts of possession of a firearm while in possession of drugs. He was held without bond.
