On June 8 at 4:33 p.m., a man entered a business in the 4200 block of Fairfax Drive, collected items and became engaged in a verbal dispute with employees over payment, Arlington police said.

The suspect allegedly became irate and exited the store with the stolen merchandise before reentering and threatening the employees, police said. The suspect then fled on foot towards the Ballston-MU Metro station.

A lookout was broadcast, and the suspect was located and detained in the Metro station.

The suspect – 31-year-old Denzell Parker of no fixed address – was arrested, charged with robbery and was held without bond.
