Arlington County Police Department are on the hunt for suspects in two burglary incidents that share some similar characteristics.

• On April 24 around 6:09 a.m., an individual unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry to a home in the 600 block of 23rd Street South, Arlington police said.

The suspect fled, and the victim subsequently determined that his vehicle had been entered and rummaged through, but nothing was taken.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a mask, black jacket and dark pants.

• On April 24 at 6:34 a.m., a woman was asleep inside her residence in the 600 block of 24th Street South when she heard a loud noise and subsequently located a shattered window in the home, Arlington police said.

Responding officers conducted a search of the home and no one was located inside. No items were reported stolen, police said, and there is no suspect description.
