On Jan. 23 between 9:30 and 10 a.m., witnesses observed two men exit a vacant residence in the 4900 block of Columbia Pike and leave the scene, Arlington police said.

Officers located signs of forced entry into the unit and, while on scene, they observed one of the suspects in the area, police said. The suspect fled from officers and initially was not located.

A perimeter was established and an Arlington County Sheriff’s Office deputy located the suspect inside a residential building in the area and took him into custody without incident, police said.

That suspect – 25-year-old Eduardo Guzman of Arlington – was arrested and charged with unlawful entry. The second suspect is described as an Hispanic male wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans and a purple hat.
