Police: Clarendon assault-by-mob incident results in arrests

On May 3 at 1:41 a.m., multiple individuals were involved in a physical altercation in the 3100 block of Clarendon Boulevard, Arlington police said.

Responding officers located one of those involved in the incident and attempted to take him into custody, but he attempted to flee on foot, police said.

One suspect – 26-year-old George Pena of Woodbridge – was arrested and charged with assault-and-battery, obstruction of justice and public intoxication.

Two other suspects – 24-year-old Christian Suazo and 25-year-old Roberto Trujllo-Rivera – were arrested and charged with public intoxication.

The investigation is continuing.
