On Feb. 2 at 9:57 a.m., an individual entered a apartment in the 2700 block of South Quincy Street that was supposed to be vacant but had a man inside, Arlington police said.
The suspect then exited the residence and fled the scene on foot, police said. Responding officers canvassed the area but did not find him.
The suspect is described as a black male, 40 to 50 years old, 40 to 50 years old.
