Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia will host an open house at its demonstration gardens at Bon Air Park on Sunday, June 18 from 1 to 3 p.m.
The organization’s sunny demonstration garden and quarry-shade demonstration garden will be open, with volunteers “teaming up to provide you the maximum opportunity to ask questions about gardening – plants, techniques, sources,” organizers said.
“Whether your yard is sunny or shady, come have a discussion about how to improve your look and learn about plants that will suit your situation,” they said.
Bon Air Park is located at 850 North Lexington St. The event is free, and no registration is required.
