The Arlington Historical Society will host a guided history walk of George Washington’s Forest on Saturday, April 22 at 1:30 p.m., beginning at the Ball-Sellers House, 5620 3rd St. South.

Washington in 1775 purchased 1,200 acres in what today is Arlington, and after the Revolutionary War returned to survey his property.

“You’ll walk in Washington’s footsteps and see survey markers he used, a D.C. boundary stone, the site of a mill built by his step-grandson, and much more,” society officials said.

The program is free, but donations are accepted. For information, see the Website at https://arlingtonhistoricalsociety.org.
