It should be a hot and humid Sunday [5/26], with temperatures across Northern Virginia topping out at about 86 degrees with plenty of humidity.

As for Memorial Day, the temperatures won't be so high but storms will be in the forecast. "A couple of showers and a heavy thunderstorm; thunderstorms can bring flooding downpours, hail and damaging wind gusts" are all part of the forecast.
Both heat and humidity dissipate as the work week begins on Tuesday.
