[Time of event has been updated from original reporting.]

The Arlington County Civic Federation will host a School Board candidate forum on Wednesday, April 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lubber Run Community Center.

All candidates for School Board, including those competing in the May Arlington County Democratic Committee caucus and others who have qualified for the general-election ballot, will be invited to participate.

Preceding the forum will be a primer on ranked-choice voting, which will be used for the Democratic School Board caucus, the June Arlington County Board Democratic primary and the November County Board general election.

The race for two School Board seats on the Nov. 5 ballot will be conducted via the traditional winner-take-all format, with the top two finishers garnering the seats currently held by Cristina Diaz-Torres and David Priddy, neither of whom is seeking re-election.
